A little combination of two of my favourite things: gut health and flower remedies.
Flower remedies work beautifully not just taken straight from the dropper onto our tongue. They can be added to our water, hot drinks and even food. Because flower essences are vibrational rather than chemical, their healing benefits do not evaporate or diminish with heat.
I personally love to add my personal daily remedy to my water bottle, coffee and even cacao on the odd occasion.
Recently, I’ve been experimenting with a way to turn SOS Formula into a sensory, edible ritual using the power of plants and some gut friendly collagen rich gelatin.
I made these Calming Flower Gummies using organic gelatin from Ossa Organic and the summery botanical sodas from Fentimans (English Apple and Rose Lemonade were personal favourites).
Shaped like delicate blooms, these little gummies are fun little way to take a pause or breathe and reset during a busy day. They also seem to be an effortless way to share flower remedies with children too.

Quick to make and so nice to have on hand to snack on throughout the week or when you feel like you just 'need a moment.'
I’m already thinking of using tart cherry juice for my next batch. Deep red, soothing flower remedy gummies with the added natural melatonin and tryptophan to help regulate sleep cycles sounds like a beautiful evening ritual I can't wait to try.
I hope you enjoy this recipe! They are a little bit addictive one you've made your first batch. I've already worked my way through this first lot a just a few days - time to pop out and find some cherry juice for round two.
With love,
Fleur xx

The Ingredients
-
100ml Botanical Liquid: I used Fentimans Rose Lemonade or Wild English Elderflower for these ones.
Tip: Measure your mould first. I filled mine with water, then poured that water into a measuring jug to figure out the exact volume needed.
-
1 – 1.5 tbsp Organic Gelatin per 100ml liquid: (I use Ossa Organic for its purity). This ratio creates a firmer gummy that holds the intricate flower details perfectly.
-
SOS Flower Essence: 4 drops per gummy (or any flower essence you would like to work with).
-
Silicone Flower Mould: (I found mine online) To create the beautiful botanical shapes (though any mould or even a glass container to create one big gummy and then cutting them into cubes will work).

The Method
1. Bloom the Gelatin Pour 100ml of your chosen liquid into a small saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatin over the surface and let it sit for about 5 minutes. This 'blooming' process ensures the gummies come out smooth and lump-free.
2. Gently Warm Place the pan over a low heat. Do not let it boil; you simply want to melt the gelatin. Whisk gently until the mixture is completely clear and the granules have dissolved.
3. The Transfer Once smooth, remove from the heat and allow it to cool slightly (warm to the touch, but not hot). I find pouring the liquid into a small jar with a spout makes the next step much easier.
4. Fill the Moulds Carefully pour the liquid into your flower moulds, using a small spoon to keep the edges tidy.
5. Add the SOS Drops Before the mixture sets, add 4 drops of the SOS Formula into each individual mould. Give each one a tiny stir with a toothpick to ensure the essence is fully woven through.
6. Set and Store Leave to cool, then place in the fridge for 1–2 hours until firm. Pop them out of the moulds and store them in a glass jar in the fridge.
*If you are working with one big gummy, in a tupperware for example, work out how many cubes you will want to cut and add drops accordingly (4 drops per cube), 8 cubes = 32 drops.
