Behind the Lens with Yalda: Photographing Fleur Remedies

Behind every Fleur Remedies photograph is a quiet collaboration between light, texture and intention.

For this shoot, we worked with photographer Yalda of Glow Studio to explore how the remedies could be captured in a way that conveys the calm and reassurance they are designed to bring.

Her work has a soft, botanical quality that felt naturally aligned with the spirit of the remedies. Through her thoughtful styling and careful attention to colour and light, the aim was to evoke the same feeling the remedies are designed to support.

In this conversation, Yalda shares her creative process, what inspired the visual direction of the shoot, and where she finds beauty in the everyday.

When you were shooting the remedies, what were you hoping to capture beyond the product itself?
Beyond the product itself I wanted to capture the feeling behind the remedies, the sense of calm reassurance and grounding they are meant to bring.

These are remedies designed for moments when people need support the most so it felt important that the imagery reflected that quiet sense of balance and serenity.

I always try to create images that communicate an emotion not just a product and with these remedies that emotion was very much about calm in the midst of chaos.

Were there particular textures, colours, or moments of light that inspired you during the shoot?
The colours of the remedies were actually a huge source of inspiration. The moment I saw them I immediately had a clear vision of how I wanted to photograph them.

The beautiful green tones of the Grounded and Connected remedies naturally guided the styling and composition while the deeper ombré brown of the S.O.S. Formula added a rich contrast.

Fleur and I had already exchanged ideas beforehand but seeing the products in person really brought the concept together for me. The colours and tones almost told their own story and I simply built the visual scene around them.

Where do you usually find beauty in everyday life?
Nature is my biggest source of inspiration. I love going for long walks exploring and noticing small details in the natural world. If I put on some calming music and spend time outside I’m instantly inspired. That connection to nature naturally finds its way into my work which is why I often incorporate earthy tones, botanicals and organic textures in my photography.

How would you describe your visual style in a few words?
Botanical, vintage, and editorial.
